The first Halo Community Social happened the evening before the Halo World Championships 2024 — the energy in Seattle was already electric, and a group of fans decided to add one more chapter to it. RangerCali and Laird pulled it together: the plan was Elephant and Castle, but when the numbers came in they couldn't accommodate the crowd.

Spin stepped up. Over 80+ people cycled through the doors that night — more than anyone expected for a first-year, word-of-mouth community event. It proved the appetite was real.

Year two brought new hands on deck. RangerCali and Laird returned, and Dust Storm joined the team — the event leveled up: a proper LAN party was added for the first time — 6 MCC stations and 2 OG Xbox stations running on CRTs, supplied by community partner NorCal Halo. Red vs Blue played on the big screen at Spin.

The community showed up. 200+ attendees came through the doors — more than double year one. The community contributed roughly $2,500 to help reserve the space and tables. Same soul, bigger room, more Halo.

This is where it scales. A proper venue — Surf Incubator, 400 capacity. A dedicated LAN with three generations of Xbox hardware, a tournament, a community theater, catering, bar service, a fundraiser to fund it all transparently, community-first.
