What is the Halo Community Social?
The Halo Community Social is the largest grassroots, community-run event of the year! Inspired by the early 2000s, our goal is to let attendees experience an event that feels like a return to a simpler time for our favorite franchise with LAN tournaments, food and drink, Halo CE and Halo 2 nostalgia, and plenty of decorations to make you feel like you stepped back into the era Halo launced in.
When will the event take place?
December 10, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the full schedule will be available closer to the event.
Where is this event located?
Surf Incubator, 7th Floor — 999 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104. Elevator access is available.

What comes with my ticket?
Entry into the event and access to all activities, including the ability to register for the Halo CE tournament. You'll also receive the event-exclusive coin and any swag unlocked with the fundraiser tiers.
How do I get my swag?
For backers who are attending the event, you will pick up your swag when you check in and pick up your pass. For our remote backers, your swag will be shipped to the address provided during the fulfillment survey.

What type of food will be offered at the event?
Mod Pizza and Dick’s Burgers will be on-site. Non-alcoholic beverages are included with your ticket. Bar service is available for attendees 21+.
Where can I get my food & drink vouchers?
You will pick up your food and drink vouchers when you check in and pick up your pass.
Where can I redeem my food/drink voucher?
You can redeem your vouchers in the cafeteria of the venue. Details will be provided at check-in.
How many vouchers can I get?
Every ticket holder will receive two meal vouchers good throughout the duration of the event. If the event extension funding goal is reached, ticket holders will receive three vouchers.
Are there allergy friendly options?
We are planning to have vegan and vegetarian options available. If you have specific allergy concerns, please reach out to us directly.
[04]LAN Tournament/ /
What game will the tournament be played on?
Halo: Combat Evolved using competitive settings.
What console will the tournament be played on?
To be announced — Currently, the tournament will be played on Xbox Series X using The Master Chief Collection. We would love to host the tournament on OG Xboxes. If you have OG Xboxes and controllers, please review the Get Involved page to review the specifics we need.
How much is the prize pool?
$1,000+ prize pool for our 4v4 tournament. At our $21k fundraiser stretch goal, this upgrades to Double Elimination with a separate FFA tournament ($400+ prize pool) unlocking as well.
Will controllers be provided or do I have to bring my own?
Controllers will be provided at all LAN stations. You are also welcome to bring your own.
[05]Getting to the Event/ /
How can I get to the event?
The venue is in downtown Seattle within walking distance of the Seattle Convention Center where Halo Fest is held and Benaroya Hall where the concerts is taking place. There are nearby light rail and bus stops as well as options for rideshare services. Detailed transit directions will be posted closer to the event.
What is the parking situation?
Street parking is available in the surrounding area along with several parking garages close to the venue. We’ll share specific recommendations closer to the event.
[06]Dress Code/ /
What is the dress code?
There is no strict dress code, although we require everyone wear appropriate, modest attire including tops, bottoms, and footwear.
Can we dress up?
Absolutely! We want you to dress up comfortably and in the Y2K style you're still hanging onto in your closet. While we won’t ask you to frost your tips — we certainly won’t say no! Half the fun is being a part of the vibe itself! If you want to go more of the Halo route, dress up in your best cosplay!

I had my photo taken at the event. Where can I get it?
Official event photos will be shared after the event. Follow us on social media and check back here for the gallery link.
Can I take photos or video at the event?
Yes, photography is encouraged! We want everyone to have fun and make memories to capture by whatever means you wish. Please be respectful of other attendees and areas that are marked off—limits to photography and videography. Official photography and videography will also be capturing the event.

Are we allowed to bring bags?
Yes: purses, messenger bags, and backpacks are allowed but may be checked on arrival.
What are the prohibited items?
A full list of prohibited items will be posted closer to the event. Standard venue security rules apply.
Will there be security?
Yes. We have a dedicated safety and security team on-site to ensure the event is a safe and fun experience for all attendees.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are not permitted at the venue, with the exception of certified service animals.
